REXBURG, Idaho- President Kim B. Clark of BYU-Idaho is seeing the worst approval rating since he took office in 2005.
After his yearly “Where Are My Knees” speech, his approval rating sank to an unprecedented 99.98 percent.
“Obviously you can’t please everybody,” said Clark. “There is always going to be somebody who doesn’t want to live the standard.”
That somebody is Bridget Mason who disagrees with the dress code and thinks that people should be able to wear whatever they want.
“I disagree with the dress code,” said Mason. “And I think people should be able to wear whatever they want.
Mason has received harassment from the pro-dress code campus group called The Anti-Knee-High-Levis. She said that they have gone even as far as labeling her a Kneehor.
Mason thinks it’s high time that President Clark makes a change in the dress code.
“I think it’s high time that President Clark makes a change in the dress code,” said Mason.
While Mason and the one other disgruntled student disapprove of some school policies, Clark believes that there is hope for all.
“There is hope for all,” said Clark. “Especially come second winter when you’d be insane to wear shorts or flip-flops on campus.”
